In general, your pet should receive a wellness exam annually. This may vary based on your pet’s needs and/or age, some may require to have more regular check ups than the average healthy pet for those reasons. When regularly bringing your pet for check ups, this ensures your pet’s progress and development, and any concerns you may have. Annual check ups are key for preventative care. Just like humans, animals can be affected by infectious diseases, some of which can be transferred to humans. As responsible pet owners that want to keep your animals safe and healthy, we highly recommend that you vaccinate them in line with current guidelines. Preventative care gives your pet their best chance at a long and healthy life.
